Ho’s Song of the Day- I’m terrible at posting this past few weeks so I thought to make up for this week by posting the three tracks that are heavily in my rotation.

  1. Scissor Sisters and MNDR: SWERLK- I partially blame my friends for getting this track stuck in my head this past weekend, but it’s hard to deny the infectious energy of the Scissors Sisters, along with the attitude of MNDR.

2. LORDE: Sober– I can say pretty confidentiality that Melodrama is going to be an exceptional sophomore album.

3. The Killers: The Man- Brandon and the boys return, and he’s clearly has been inspired by his solo foray into 80’s pop.

Ho’s Song of the Day- Dua Lipa dropped her self titled debut LP out on Friday and as expected, it’s a great album. Check out a surprise from the album (at least for me) the warm “Homesick” with the uncredited Chris Martin of Coldplay backing her.

Ho’s Song of the Day-  This week was actually a fantastic week for music, I just was terrible at keeping up with posting. One of my favorite releases this week is a new one from Lorde, called “Perfect Places.” P.S. Lorde, please continue to this trajectory of witty, insightful tracks for your sophomore album, Melodrama.  K

Ho’s Song of the Day- I was out visiting family this weekend but wanted to get this week started with two tracks that were on non-stop rotation this weekend. First, check out utterly charming Carly Rae Jepsen with a new track that was left off her last album ( and B-sides) called “Cut to the Feeling.”

The second track I wanted to share is all about ALMA. She’s become a prominent figure on my blog and I can confidently say she’s joined the rank of my “Girl Power” (previously trifect) of Shura, LEON, and KLOE. Here she assist Sub Focus on a mesmerizing track called “Don’t You Feel It.”

Ho’s Song of the Day- I will say I am kind of late to this party but a friend of mine was insistent I listen to A R I Z O N A, which admittedly I kept putting off- and it was my mistake that I did. There debut LP, GALLERY is joyful, unique, yet familiar at the same time. Check out my favorite track from the album “Running.”
